about

Originally entitled the 2nd Awakening Chorus, the Hudson Film Group commissioned Eric and Pete to write a piece of music that would fit in with either a James Bond movie or perhaps Keifer Sutherland saving the world in 24. Pete took the middle piece of Fracture (now known as Fallout of the 1st Kind but then simply the Awakening Chorus… keeping in mind that Fracture was originally called The Awakening until the 17 minute epic was renamed with this title), and put an industrial “blade runner” like mix onto it. The new piece was so interesting that Eric felt that this song should be given the full treatment with lyrics and guitars and . While they started from scratch again to do this, this version of Fallout is absolutely what brought about the idea of doing an industrial version of Fallout of the 1st Kind which became what you now know as Fallout of the 2nd Kind. This is the song that led to the creation of that track.
